Mercer Family and Friends 2017 Art Show In Lawrenceville

Art show in Lawrenceville Library by artists that are former students of Mercer County Community College continues through May 31.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library will feature the artwork of Clara Sue Beym, John A. Brecko, Jr., Giancarla Macaluso, Bill Plank, Helene Plank, Margaret Simpson and Margaret Woo from Tuesday, May 2, through Wednesday, May 31. The common thread among all the artists is that all of them were associated with Mercer County Community College.

The show is titled “Mercer Family and Friends 2017.” The library is located at 2751 Brunswick Pike (Route 1) in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, at the corner of Route 1 and Darrah Lane.

The show features the pastels and watercolors of Sue Beym and Margaret Simpson, and Giancarla Macaluso’s functional and sculptural pieces. Helene Plank’s jewelry and button mosaics will be on display. Margaret Woo will also be exhibiting her jewelry. The show will also feature acrylic paintings by Bill Plank and John A. Brecko, Jr.

A reception is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Library hours are: Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
