NBC’s Medical Editor, A Princeton Resident, Placed Under Mandatory Quarantine After Possible Ebola Contact

Nancy Snyderman, a 62-year-old Princeton resident and medical editor with NBC, has been placed under mandatory quarantine by New Jersey Health Officials when she was discovered violating her voluntary isolation agreement. The state Health Department said there is no reason to suspect Princeton residents are at risk of contracting ebola.

UPDATE: Obama Cancels New Jersey Trip To Deal With Government’s Ebola Response

President Obama canceled his trip to Union Township yesterday to address the government’s handling of ebola when news broke that a second Texas health care worker contracted the illness. He was to participate in democratic fundraisers and host a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, all of which has been postponed. No reschedule date has been released.
