New Lawrence Councilman To Be Sworn In Wednesday
John Ryan will be sworn in during Lawrence's reorganization meeting at the municipal building on New Year's Day.
LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — John Ryan will become the newest member of Lawrence Township Council when he is sworn in on New Year’s Day.
Ryan, who won election to council in November, will be sworn in during Lawrence Township’s reorganization meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 1, noon at the municipal building.
He, Cathleen Lewis and Michael Powers defeated Republicans Robert Pluta, Joseph Vinch and Eric Jaszewski in November’s elections. Lewis and Powers, who are both incumbents, will also be sworn in. Council will also elect a new mayor.
