The state recently issued guidance for pools to follow, so they can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic.

Lawrenceville Swimming Association: This cooperative swim club was established in 1960 and is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is a competitive-sized pool, lap lanes, wading pools and more. You need to apply for membership.

Ben Franklin Swim Club: Our readers say this is one of the best places to swim in the area. The Ben Franklin Swim Club is located in Lawrenceville and has a 25-meter pool, wading pool, diving pool — you name it. The tree-lined grounds have picnic tables, and chairs to make for a good summer outing with the family. You might want to consider a membership for the 2021 season.
The Willows Pool: Located at 39, Willow Road Lawrenceville, the pool will open on Memorial Day weekend. Located in the heart of Lawrenceville, it's the perfect spot for some summer fun.
Ewing Township Pool: The township has opened registration for the 2021 season. Membership is good for the Hollowbrook Community Center and the Ewing Senior and Community Center pools
Hopewell Valley Tennis and Swim Center: Membership for the 2021 season is now open. And yes, you do need a membership to use the pool. There is an Olympic size pool, wading pool, snack bar and more. Membership discounts are also available.
West Windsor Water Works: The family aquatic center will be opening for the 2021 season. Membership fees and guest pass fees have been reduced. Early registration will end on May 21.
Broadmead Swim Club: This is another popular destination for families. The Broadmead Swim Club is affiliated with Princeton University, but membership is open to all. Located on 184 Broadmead Street, the club has lunch tables and lounge chairs. Registration for the 2021 season is now open, but expect a few changes.
Nassau Swim Club: Applications for the 2021 season are now open. The Nassau Swim Club is a small cooperative swim club, operating in Princeton for the past 50 years. The club offers various swimming and aquatics programs and is a great place for some family fun.
