Princeton Folk Music Society Presents a Concert by Nowell Sing We Clear

Nowell Sing We Clear presents a pageant of religious- and pagan-inspired songs and stories from centuries-old British and North American traditions. The songs recount the Christmas story and detail customs and rituals which make up the 12 magical days following the return of the light at the winter solstice. Part of the pageant includes a mummers play, a folk drama that portrays the death of the land at midwinter and its rebirth in spring.
