Registration Upcoming For Tennis, Pickleball In Mercer County
Registration opens Saturday morning on the Mercer County Park Commission's website.

Sign-ups for 2019 spring/summer tennis programs and leagues begin this weekend, the Mercer County Park Commission announced. Signups are Saturday, Feb. 9, 8 a.m. for adults and 9 a.m. for juniors. Players can reigster online at the Park Commission’s Community Pass website at https://register.communitypass.net/mercer.
Program opportunities include: Junior and Adult Lesson Programs for all levels and ages, as well as the Mercer County Summer Tennis League, which is a flex league that runs from April 29 through July 7. The Tennis league will accept the first 725 registrations.
For the first time, a pickleball doubles leagues will be offered consisting of two division levels: 3.0 through 3.5 (intermediate/competitive) and 4.0 through 4.5 (advanced). Age groups 18 and over will be scheduled for evening and weekend play; ages 50 and over will have weekday daytime and weekend play. The pickleball league will accept the first 100 registrations.

Both tennis and pickleball leagues end with playoff tournaments from July 13 through 26. The deadline to sign up for this league is April 7.
