Ring A Bell For Hope On Christmas Eve, Lawrence Township
The township is inviting residents to ring a bell for 2 minutes on Christmas Eve to spread the message of hope and peace.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — With the Holiday’s here, Lawrence Township is encouraging residents to participate in a message of hope and peace.
On Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) at 6 p.m., the township has requested residents to go outside and ring a bell for two minutes.
The township said this event is being suggested for communities all around the world. Those who don’t celebrate Christmas are welcome and encouraged to join, as the bells have deeper meaning this year.

To help with the ringing of the bells, the Lawrence Township Recreation Department will be placing bells on trees in five parks in Lawrence Township starting on December 16. The bells will be located on one tree in each of the following parks:
- Village Park
- Colonial Lake Park
- Eldridge Park
- Veterans Park
- Central Park
Enjoy a winter walk, find a bell at one of the parks and take it home to ring on Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.
