Ronald McDonald House Offers Four-Year College Scholarships

Students may apply through January 21.

Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Tri-State Area is accepting applications from graduating high school seniors in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut seeking four-year college scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded based on "demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and community involvement."

Four scholarship programs are available:

  • The African American Future Achievers Scholarship is open to students with at least one parent of of African-American or Black Caribbean heritage.
  • The Asian Student Increasing Awareness Scholarship is open to students with at least one parent of Asian/Pacific-Islander heritage.
  • The HACER scholarship is open to students with at least one parent of Hispanic heritage.
  • The RMHC Scholars scholarship is open to all students, regardless of ethnicity.
