Special Yard Waste Collection In Effect For Lawrence After Isaias

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Lawrence Township is increasing the length of brush pile for yard waste collection in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias.

The length is being expanded to 25 feet, and the township is currently collecting Zone 2, officials said Tuesday evening.

All other yard waste rules will still apply, including tree branches that shall be no longer than 6 inches in diameter and 3 feet in length.

The length of the yard waste pile will be increased to 25 feet for the next collection only. It will expire after the next collection in each zone is complete, and it will end on Sept. 4. For more information, contact the Lawrence Township Public Works Department at 609-587-1894.
