Spring Festival And Egg Hunt To Benefit Local Rescues

The festival is set for April 14 in Pennington.

The Northeast Animal Support Alliance will host a Spring Community Festival and Egg Hunt one week before Easter. The event will benefit local animal rescues and local businesses.

It is set for Sunday, April 14 (Palm Sunday), 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rosedale Mills, 101 Route 31 north in Pennington. Admission is free. The rain date is Saturday, April 20, same time.

There will be two free egg hunts, including one for ages 5 and under at 1 p.m., and one for ages 6-12 at 1:30 p.m.

In addition, there will be:
  • 70+ vendors
  • Door prizes announced every 15 minutes
  • Pet adoptions
  • Face painting
  • Easter Bunny appearances and free photo opportunities for pets and children
  • Goat Yoga
  • Petting Zoo
  • Police dog demonstrations
  • Sand art and spring crafts with the Hopewell Valley Cheerleaders
  • 7 top local restaurants providing gourmet food: Blue Bottle Cafe, Entrata, Antimo’s, Borough Bean, P Bagel, Uncle Ed’s, Maddalena’s
All of the money raised will be donated to the following rescues:
  • German Shepherd Rescue of New Jersey
  • Trenton Cats Rescue
  • K-9 Capital Forgotten Tails
  • Long Island Bulldog Rescue SoCo
  • K-9 Capital
  • SAVE
