St. Francis Earns 2020 Get With The Guidelines Quality Awards
American Heart Association/American Stroke Association recognizes St. Francis Medical Center's commitment to quality with awards
St. Francis Medical Center recently earned the Get With The Guidelines® — Stroke Gold Plus Award for the fourth consecutive year. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that every stroke patient receives treatment according to nationally accepted recommendations and standards. As part of the Stroke designation, St. Francis was also recognized with the Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
In addition, St. Francis Medical Center earned a Get With The Guidelines® Resuscitation Silver Award for implementing quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer cardiac arrests in the hospital.
