It's going to be a busy week. Chanukah begins on Wednesday at sunset, Thanksgiving is Thursday and there are lots of local events.

Monday
Monday Morning Flowers invites you to create a centerpiece for your thanksgiving table just in time for the holiday. Registration requested, 6 p.m.ÂTuesday
Adath Israel Synagogue will host an annual Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Celebration, reflecting on the theme of"Thankfulness for the bounties of the Earth."Â A collection of dry goods and cans will be donated to the Lawrence Neighborhood Service Center, for their food pantry, 7:30 p.m.ÂWednesday
Chanukah begins at sunsetFestival of Trees at Morven Museum. See holiday trees decorated by area business, garden clubs, and organizations. $6. First day. On view Wednesdays to Sundays through Sunday, Jan. 5., 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.Â

Happy Thanksgiving!ÂMercer County Turkey Trot, 5K and One-Mile Walk to benefit for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Jewish Family and Children's Service's Kosher Food Pantry, and Beth El Synagogue in East Windsor. Bring a non-perishable food item for TASK. Mercer County Park, Register, 8 a.m.Â
Sixth Annual Trinity Turkey Trot 5K Race. A family friendly run/walk race through Princeton. All proceeds benefit local charities. Bring a canned good to donate. 8:30 a.m.Â
A Thanksgiving Day nature walk at Mapleton Preserve. Join Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands President Karen Linder for her popular Thanksgiving Day morning exploration. Pre-registration requested, 10 a.m.Â
Friday
Thanksgiving Weekend at Terhune Orchards. Sample wines and warm up with hot mulled wine made with Chambourcin, apple cider and Terhune Orchards apples.  The whole family can enjoy wagon rides and pony rides from 11 to 4, explore the farm, choose a Christmas tree, visiting the barn yard of animals and the farm store.ÂGet more local news delivered straight to your inbox.
