LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ - The traffic light at Route 206 and Eggerts Crossing Road has been restored after it wasn't working Tuesday morning, Lawrence Township police said.

However, traffic delays still persist. Drivers should use alternate routes until traffic levels diminish or plan accordingly for delays.

"Even with patrol officers assisting traffic, it has caused significant traffic backups," police said earlier in the day. "Updates to the situation will be provided when available. Please avoid the area until further notice."
