Virtual Learning Wednesday For Lawrence Public Schools
Authorities have asked home owner and tenant to remove snow from their sidewalk to ensure safety of children walking to their school buses.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) announced Tuesday afternoon it will continue with remote learning on Wednesday.
Students of LTPS switched to the remote learning schedule for Monday and Tuesday due to the nor'easter. All sports were cancelled for both days.
Sports are cancelled on Wednesday.

A "major" nor'easter left much of New Jersey covered in snow Tuesday morning. Some parts of the state recorded 32 inches of snowfall.
Many neighboring school districts too have opted for virtual leaning on Wednesday, including East Windsor. They will return for in-person classes Thursday, and South Brunswick will begin it's first day of in-person learning Thursday.

Given that flurries continue in many towns, clearing the school grounds of snow could take time. Meanwhile, Lawrence Township authorities are working to clear the roadways.
Authorities have asked home owner, occupant or tenant of a premises to remove snow from their sidewalk within 24 hours after snowfall ends. This is to ensure safety of children walking to their school buses or to school itself.
