Who's Running For School Board In Lawrence Township?

Five candidates are running for three open seats, and one candidate is running unopposed in a special election.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Five candidates will pursue three open seats on the Lawrence Township Board of Education in November, while one candidate will run uncontested in a special election.

The following five candidates are running for three open seats on the Lawrence Board of Education, according to the unofficial list posted on the Mercer County Clerk’s website. Their slogans, if any, are listed next to their name:
  • Patricia “Pepper” Evans (Keep Moving Forward)
  • Jonathan Dauber (Keep Moving Forward)
  • Michelle King (Keep Moving Forward)
  • Heather L. Camp (Integrity)
  • Adena Romeo-Ratliff (Fiscally Responsible Educator)

Cathy LeCompte is running to fill one-year remaining on an unexpired term under the slogan “Keep Moving Forward.” She was the only one to file a petition to run in the special election by the 4 p.m. deadline on Monday, July 29.

Both lists remain unofficial, pending certification by the Mercer County Clerk. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.
