Patch: What made you first decide to become a dentist?

Darius P. Oshidar, DMD: I was enlisted in the U.S. Army reserves when I was 17 years old. I was a dental assistant in a dental field unit. After being exposed to the dental field, I decided to further pursue this passion and became a dentist.

Patch: What services does Oceanport Quality Dental Care offer?

Darius P. Oshidar, DMD: We offer a number of services, including basic cosmetic dentist services, preventive care, all sorts of restorative procedures, implants and periodontal, oral surgery, teeth whitening and a number of other offerings.

Patch: What is your definition of success?

Darius P. Oshidar, DMD: You're successful when your name and reputation is known to be exceptional.

Patch: If you had to recommend a book, what would it be?

Darius P. Oshidar, DMD: The Bible is easily the best book written.

Patch: Can you tell us a little bit about your staff and their background?

Darius P. Oshidar, DMD: Lisa English has worked for Oceanport Quality Dental Care for 20 years. Jackie Pollock is my chairside assistant and, after only two months, has established herself very well. Dr. Rob Conti is a periodontist in the office.

Darius P. Oshidar, DMD: Brush, floss and use a good rinse program, which we can recommend.
