Campaign Created for Woman Battling Cancer

A Polar Bear Plunge has been created to help raise funds for the woman.

An Eatontown-based fundraising campaign has been created to help a woman who is battling cancer.

The campaign, created by Matthew Andras, of Eatontown, on www.gofundme.com is called Plunge for Hoffman, Freeze For A Reason.

"The Polar Bear Plunge hopes to raise money in order to ease the burden of life’s daily challenges for Vanessa and her family—housecleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, childcare, and other miscellaneous expenses, as well as medical costs," Andras said.

Andras said the fundraiser will be held in Asbury Park on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m.
