Closing Weekend at Monmouth Park, A Memorial in Oceanport
The closing day of the racing season in Oct. 6.

After another successful racing summer, Monmouth Park is closing for the season.
The final day of live racing is Sunday, Oct. 6, in Oceanport.

The memory of former Oceanport mayor Maria Gatta will be preserved in Maria Gatta Community Park this week.
The dedication will be held on Monday, September 30  at 5 p.m. at the entrance to the park on Port Au Peck Avenue.
The Oceanport Council will also meet this week, on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. at Maple Place School.Â
