
Red Bank Catholic picked up right where it left off, opening the 2015 high school football season with a 28-0 victory over Long Branch, according to the Shore Sports Network.
Dylan Murphy returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown and Colin Shaughnessy added a 16-yard touchdown run in the Shore Conference Class B North victory for the Caseys. Mike Wilen scored on a 45-yard run and Anthony Purge added a late touchdown run.
Shaughnessy stepped in at quarterback for injured starter Eddie Hahn, who is still recovering from a knee injury, and finished with 120 total yards.
