Little Silver Doctor Faces Sentencing for Role in Oxycodone Distribution Ring
Jacqueline LoPresti was charged with illegally writing more than 6,000 prescriptions for more than 500,000 oxycodone tablets.

A Little Silver doctor and Fair Haven resident will be sentenced at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29Â for her role in an oxycodone distribution ring.
Jacqueline LoPresti, a 52-year-old licensed osteopathy doctor, was charged with illegally writing more than 6,000 prescriptions for more than 500,000 oxycodone tablets between January 2009 and December 2010.Â
LoPresti pleaded guilty last October to one count of conspiracy, NJ.com reported. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years and a fine up to $1 million. The court ordered LoPreseti to forfeit more than $400,000.
