Little Silver Halloween Parade Set For Oct. 20

Creatures of all shapes and sizes will inhabit the streets of Little Silver on Oct. 20 for the borough's annual Halloween parade.

The parade will begin at 1 p.m. at the Rumson Road tennis courts and will end at the Little Silver Firehouse at 543 Prospect Ave.

There will be a costume contest with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes given in seven age groups between 0 months and 12 years of age. Family groups will also be awarded prizes and a grand prize will be given to the best group.

The Ladies Auxiliary will have cider and donuts ready at the firehouse after the parade.

In the even of rain, the parade and costume contest will be held on Sunday, Oct.  27.
