Little Silver Man With Coronavirus Quarantined For Past Week

LITTLE SILVER, NJ — A Little Silver man with a presumptive positive case of the novel coronavirus has been quarantined since March 1 and appears to be recovering at home.
The man has a sibling who attends Red Bank Regional, according to school officials. RBR was closed Tuesday for cleaning. The State Health Department and Regional Health Commission are continuing to investigate the circumstance.

New Jersey has confirmed 11 coronavirus cases as of Monday afternoon — five more since Sunday.

The Little Silver man attended the Biogen conference in Boston. Twenty-three presumptive positive cases had a direct connection to the conference, which occurred late February. All people affected are isolating at home. Specimens will be sent to the Center for Disease Control for confirmation.
Little Silver residents with school-age children will receive information from schools. The Borough is working with the Regional Health Commission to provide more information as it becomes available.
