Little Silver Office Open Today To Accept Tax Payments

Little Silver joins the list of towns accepting prepayment of 2018 taxes after Gov. Christie required it.

LITTLE SILVER, NJ - The borough Tax Office will be open until 4 p.m. today to accept tax payments. Online payments will be accepted through Dec. 31 although fees will apply.

Payments also may be made to the drop box in the foyer of the Police Department until midnight on Dec. 31.

This follows Gov. Christie's signing of an executive order this week directing municipalities to accept prepayments for the first two quarters of 2018 before the new sweeping tax law takes affect Monday which limits certain tax deductions to $10,000.

Aberdeen, Red Bank and Marlboro were among the towns to allow prepayment before Christie made it mandatory.

For more information, call the Tax Office at 732-219-0812.
