Little Silver Police Honor The Tiniest Trooper
Little Silver Police Officers joined New Jersey State Troopers and others in honoring three-year old who dreams of joining their ranks.

LITTLE SILVER, NJ - Borough police last month joined with New Jersey State Police and others in elevating Benjamin Graham, of Elmer Township into their ranks.
Graham is a 3-year-old warrior who is battling an aggressive form of neuroblastoma, which is a type of cancer common in children. Graham wants to be a state trooper or police officer so State Police Sergeant Storm Colleton, Trooper Brian Conover of Bordentown Station, Kingwood Station, the New Jersey State Police Recruiting and Operational Dispatch Units, the Little Silver Police Department and many others dug into their pockets to give Ben and his family a very special Christmas.
Colonel Patrick Callahan hosted Ben and his family at the New Jersey State Police Log Cabin to swear him in as an official New Jersey State Trooper. He was presented a badge, cover and official documentation from the state and was given a custom New Jersey State Police troop car, complete with lights and siren and a public address system.
Graham and his siblings also were treated to an early Christmas because of the law enforcement donations. Police officers said they often felt the calling at about the same age.
