Little Silver Turns To Facebook For Opinions On Waste Pickup

LITTLE SILVER, NJ - Do you think Little Silver should have two zones for trash and recycling or three? The Borough of Little Silver wants to know with a poll they posted on Facebook.

The poll is asking residents if they would like to go to a two zone pickup for trash, recycling and brush, which would eliminate a Saturday morning pickup. One zone would have their waste picked up on Monday and Thursday and the other zone's waste would be picked up Tuesday and Friday, according to the Facebook post.

"An additional benefit brought to our attention is for Zone 3 residents who are awoken early Saturday mornings by the garbage truck, they will no longer have that issue if the town moves to 2 zones," The Borough of Little Silver commented on the Facebook poll.

The poll ends in 13 days, so make sure you get your voice heard. To vote, just go over to theLittle Silver Facebook page and decide whether you want two or three trash and recycling pickup zones.
