Monmouth County Sheriff's Officers help unload 1,000 turkeys donated by Stop & Shop as Fulfill responds to requests for emergency assistance

Monmouth County Sheriff's Officers helped unload 1,000 turkeys donated by Stop & Shop to Fulfill (formerly known as The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties), as the Food Bank responds to unprecedented requests for emergency assistance in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The turkey donation is part of Stop & Shop's Turkey Express program, which will deliver more than 18,000 turkeys to hunger relief organizations in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island this holiday season.

"Stop & Shop is proud to be able to assist Fulfill in its mission of providing for families in need," said Bob Yager, Stop & Shop's Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations. "Food insecurity is a painful reality for many families in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Fulfill's efforts provide a necessary safety net for our neighbors in their time of need."
