One Person In Custody After Barricaded Incident In Little Silver

SWAT police with the Monmouth County prosecutor's office were on the scene of a barricaded person in Little Silver late Wednesday.

UPDATE: One person has been arrested by Little Silver police and charged with second-degree false public alarm following a report of a hostage/barricaded subject on Wednesday.

It resolved without incident, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

SWAT police with the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office were on the scene of a barricaded subject in Little Silver late Wednesday, said a spokesman for the prosecutor.

This was happening on the 400 block of Branch Avenue, near Sycamore Avenue in Little Silver.

"We can confirm that MOCERT (Monmouth County Emergency Response Team) team is in scene of a barricaded subject in Little Silver," said spokesman Chris Swendeman, a spokesman for county prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni.
