RBR Introduces Desk Bikes to Students

Red Bank Regional students have been introduced to a new weigh to learn and work out at the same time.

RBR Media Specialist Kathy Smith was able to purchase five desk bikes for the price of two library chairs and placed them in the school's media center.

“People thought I was going to turn the Media Center into a gym, but the feedback has been very positive," Smith said.

Senior Ryan Grant said he was skeptical of the desk bikes at first, but now he feels they actually help him with his work.

“It really helps me focus on my work," Grant said.

The student body is now requesting that the school district add more bike desks to the media center.
