Scholarship Created in Honor of Monmouth University Student

A scholarship has been created in the memory of Chris Mejia, a Monmouth University student who died last year.

"The purpose of this charity is to raise enough money for the endowment (self-funded) of the Christopher A. Mejia Scholarship at the Monmouth University School of Business," according to Jason Horowtiz.

Horowitz has created a way for people to donate to the scholarship fund on www.gofundme.com.

"This scholarship in Chris' Memory will be awarded on a yearly basis to a worthy student who has the special attributes Chris possessed," Horowitz said. "Someone who can carry on."
