Want A Chance To Rebuild Little Silver? Legos Will Help

The Little Silver Historical Society is sponsoring a day to rebuild Little Silver with little plastic blocks.

LITTLE SILVER, NJ - The eighth annual "Build Little Silver With Legos" is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 27 and so the question must be asked, "Are there sufficient Legos with which to rebuild a town?"

The Little Silver Historical Society is presenting the anticipated event in which participants may choose from among 25 different structures and are free to interpret them at will which has two benefits: the ability to create your own masterpiece and the ability to watch Little Silver grow.

In order to plan your strategy, you should view the 12-foot-by-18-foot scale map of town that is filled with buildings longing to be recreated in Lego. The map is in the community room of the Embury Methodist Church on Church Street.

Pre-register at the Little Silver Public Library and be prepared to pay the $25 family donation. On the day of the event, a parent must accompany his or her child because organizers maintain this is best played as a family event.
