87 Pets Find 'Furever' Homes At Morris County Shelter (Photos)

St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison made the push as part of the Clear the Shelters event.

MADISON, NJ - They waived the fees, they put out the call on social media and at the end of the day, St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison found 87 prospective pets a new home.

The push was part of the Clear the Shelter Event sponsored by NBC and Telemundo. Hundreds of shelters across the country participated in the event, a nationwide pet adoption drive on Saturday, Aug. 17 to help find loving homes for animals in need. More than 250,000 pets found their forever homes since 2015.

All in all, St. Hubert's adopted out dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rats, guinea pigs and bunnies.
