'A Beloved Son': Family Raises Funds For Drew Student's Memorial
Ajay Sah's family wants to honor him with a traditional cremation by his loved ones. Officials announced the missing student's death Monday.

MADISON, NJ — The extensive, months-long search for a missing Drew University student ended Monday when authorities announced the discovery of Ajay Sah's body. Now Sah's family seeks to give him a proper memorial.
After the Nepalese international student went missing in January, his family set up a GoFundMe for expenses linked to the search. The Sah family shifted the fundraiser's focus to flying loved ones to New Jersey for a traditional cremation, along with other religious and cultural rites they will conduct over a month.
"Ajay was not only a valued member of the Drew University community, but also a beloved son, and brother to his family in Nepal," wrote Shiva Sah, Ajay's brother. "His departure has left a hole in the hearts of many, and we are devastated by his loss. Ajay was known for his adventurous spirit, contagious smile, and most importantly, his unconditional kindness. His warmth truly touched the lives of all those around him."
