Car Bursts into Flames on Fairfax Court
The 62-year-old driver turned off the ignition and saw flames coming from beneath the hood.

The Madison Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Fairfax Court after flames engulfed a car after it began to stutter on the road.
The 62-year-old driver of the silver 2012 Audi said he parked, then turned off the ignition after the car suddenly began stuttering and a red light came on the dashboard early Wednesday. He noticed flames coming from under the hood after he turned off the car then dialed 911.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames upon arriving at the scene at approximately 4:54 a.m. The fire also damaged a beige Lexus parked next to the Audi.

No injuries were reported and the fire was not believed to be suspicious, according to the fire department.
