Cement Block Thrown Through Former School Window

Fire extinguisher also set off, Morris County K-9 unit called to help with search.

A cement paver block was thrown through a window of the former Green Village Road School over the weekend, Madison police said.

Police responded to an alarm at the school around 10:30 p.m. Saturday and discovered the damage, and also saw a fire extinguisher had been set off in the school, Detective Kenneth Shannon said in a news release.

The Morris County K-9 unit helped police search the building, but they didn't find anyone or see further evidence of criminal mischief, he said.

Shannon said there were no witnesses or surveillance footage, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the police depatment at 973-593-3000.
