Update: Full Power Restoration Expected Today
The borough cooling and charging center will be open
MADISON, NJ—The borough's last remaining power outages should be repaired today, and the cooling and charging center is open for local residents who are among the more than 91,000 Morris County homes without power.
"Electric restoration work is currently ongoing as we work towards full restoration to the entire borough," said Madison Mayor Robert Conley.
The center, in the municipal building on King's Road, provides a place for those still affected by this week's storm to cool off and charge their electronic devices until 4:30 p.m. The Madison Electric Department said electrical service should be totally restored on Thursday.

As part of the cleanup effort, borough officials said yard debris pickup will begin soon. Residents should place small branches at the curb cut small, in containers, or bundled (as outlined in the weekly yard waste collection requirements). Larger branches can be left at the curb and will be collected as soon as possible.
