Door Smashed in Lincoln Place Break-In

Money was taken from register, police say.

Madison police are investigating a break-in at a Lincoln Place store where a glass door was smashed in and money was removed from a cash register.

Police responded to the break-in at Kids' Consignment on May 20 after receiving a report about the burglary, Detective Kenneth Shannon said in a news release.

There were no witnesses and the investigation was turned over to the Madison Police Detective Bureau, Shannon said.
