Drew Student Charged With Aggravated Assault
Individual felt threatened, believed 19-year-old had weapon, according to police.

A Drew University student was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon after Madison police investigated an incident on campus where a student reported feeling threatened, authorities said.
Ozan Yucetepe, 19, of Westfield, was arrested at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, by Patrolman Matthew Mirabella, police said. Yucetepe was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to a police news release.
Police said the incident involved Yucetepe and a female student who felt threatened by Yucetepe and believed he had a weapon.

Madison Police Lt. Dennis Lam said Yucetepe allegedly brandished a metal belt buckle shaped like the letter “H,” with two points of the buckle held toward the student, who was not injured.
Yucetepe was released on $1,000 bail, according to police.
