Early Dismissal for Madison Schools Tuesday

Second shortened school day in a row for Madison students.

Madison schools let out early Tuesday.

Madison High School dismissed students at 12:06 p.m., MJS at 12:25 p.m. and elementary schools at 12:45 p.m., according to a district announcement.

The Madison Area YMCA canceled kids' classes from 9 a.m. until at least 3 p.m., and some Madison businesses said they were closing for the day or opening their doors later than usual.

It was the second shortened school day in a row. The district had a delayed opening on Monday.
