Enjoy Safe and Fun Y Programs in January
Beginning Monday, January 4, we are ready to welcome all to our 4-week January session

At the Madison Area YMCA this winter, we are pleased to offer opportunities that support adult, youth and family health, wellness and development. Beginning Monday, January 4, we are ready to welcome all to our 4-week January session. Online registration for members only opens Thursday, December 17 at 9 a.m. Non-member registration opens online on Friday, December 18 at 9 a.m.
As a leader in healthy living, the Madison Area YMCA diligently monitors developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and communicates with and provides resources to our community. Wellness has never been more essential to our community than it is now. Following recommendations from the Madison Department of Health and the CDC, and following the Governor’s Executive Orders, we provide a safe and healthy experience for all participants. Our January schedule includes a variety of enriching program opportunities to meet the varying needs of our community’s youth, especially during this season’s challenging circumstances.
“Our modified Y-Winners Basketball will now be played in bubbles just like the NBA for the January session” said Associate Sports Director Aaron Goodwin. “Pods for ‘safe circles’ of family and friends continue to be offered for preschoolers not only in Sports, but in Performing Arts and Fitness. Private lessons continue for both preschoolers and school-age participants.”

Small studio adult and youth programs and custom youth pod offerings are available for the School of Performing Arts (SOPA), Sports skill development, Gymnastics, Y Ninja Gym and more. While still maintaining physical distance requirements, our custom pods are the perfect opportunity to extend preschoolers’ skill development within a "safe circle."
