MADISON, NJ — Last month was National Dog Month and Patch tried to help dogs find loving homes. Now we want to help homeless cats.

As part of that effort, we will be highlighting cats that currently are waiting in shelters for someone to adopt them.

Mia is one of those cats. She is at the Saint Hubert's Animal Welfare Center at 575 Woodland Ave.

According to Saint Hubert's, Mia is an eight pound grey tabby that has been spayed.

"I'm a petite, two-year-old short hair cat who came all the way from Puerto Rico to find a home. I am a sweet girl who likes attention and would make a great addition to your household," the shelter description says.
