Halloween Hoopla, New Math Program, Trunk or Treat This Week
Spooky fundraiser at Madison museum also planned.

Math in Focus: A presentation for parents on a new math teaching method used in grades K-2 this year is scheduled for Wednesday evening.
K-2 Math in Focus Information Night for Parents is 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the gym at Central Avenue School. "Math in Focus: Singapore Math" is the title of the textbook, and the program is based on the curriculum widely used in Singapore.
The night will include an overview of the program, information about accessing an online learning tool, and ways for parents to support their children.
Ghosts & Ghouls: A spooky fundraiser for educational programs at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts in Madison is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. An evening filled with haunting ghost stories, enchanting music, delicious foods and spooky punch is planned. A silent auction also will take place. Black and white attire suggested, costumes welcome. Admission is $75. For more information call 973-377-2982 ext. 14.
Halloween Hoopla: The Madison Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its annual Halloween Hoopla, featuring a costume parade, magic show and trick-or-treating at downtown businesses, on Saturday.
Parade participants meet at Green Village Road field on Kings Road at 12:15 p.m. The magic show at Lincoln and Waverly Place starts at 1 p.m. and trick-or-treating is from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.Â
Trunk or Treat: The Madison High School Class of 2016 is calling all trick-or-treaters to the 1st Annual Trunk or Treat from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Madison High School’s main parking lot.
Decorate your trunks, dress your kids in costumes and bring lots of treats to be shared by kids as they parade around the open trunks. Prizes awarded for “Best Decorated Trunk” in several categories such as scariest, cutest and most creative

All proceeds benefit the Madison High School Class of 2016.
