Lightning Strike Sets Madison Garage Ablaze
No one was injured in the fire last week, officials said.

MADISON, NJ - The wild weather that whipped through the area last Wednesday sent a lightning strike into a Madison garage igniting a fire, officials said.
Shortly after 5 p.m. the Madison Fire Department responded to a detached garage that was struck by lightning and on fire.
According to officials, the fire caused damage to the roof and attic but there were no injuries. Fire Departments from Florham Park, Morris Township, Cedar Knolls, Chatham and Parsippany provided mutual aid. In addition the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corp and Madison Police Department provided on scene support.
