These Madison native musicians have been making waves in today's music industry & are a 'must see' before the end of the year

With Madison always being a hotbed for artistic talent, it comes as no surprise that a handful of local musicians would be making a lot of noise on the national level within the independent music scene.
Between apple picking and enjoying pumpkin spice drinks; here's a list of a few 'must see' Madison area rock band's to put on your calendar to help you enjoy the Fall to its fullest.

From performing to thousands at Liberty State Park, to sharing the main stage with Lifehouse at this year's NJ QuickChek Festival of Ballooning; this eclectic neo-90's pop rock group has shown no signs of slowing down whatsoever. Managed by bassist and Madison's own Mike Hall, along with guitarist Noah Giglio and sax player John Hall, Running Late has established themselves over the years as one of the premier original rock band's to see throughout the tri state area. With the recent addition of lead vocalist Lauren D'Imperio and drummer Ori Yekutiel, the band has recently released their brand new single "Rodeo", which you can listen to and purchase through iTunes and Spotify. The band also boasts a weekly newsletter which updates their subscribers with news pertaining to their upcoming shows, recordings, and everything in between, which you can sign up for here.

If you were looking to see a high energy performance which consists of blues infused rock and roll, along with a writing style emulating that of Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, then look no further. Lead by lead guitarist, vocalist, and Madison's own Brian Rigby, this project provides audiences with a unique blend of rock and soul that you wont find anywhere else. Fortunately; this exciting group will be playing a free show at Hartley Dodge Memorial on Saturday, October 6th from 12pm-1pm. With a free performance right in the heart of Madison, this is the perfect opportunity to see for yourself why the Brian Rigby Band has been heralded as one of the best live acts to see in the independent music scene.

From hypnotizing melodies to engaging dynamic rhythms; this instrumental-progressive jam band has been on the rise ever since releasing their debut EP last year. Consisting of Madison's own Chris Ruzicka on guitar, Mark Spelker on drums, Connor Forde on bass, and Neil Forde on guitar/keys, these virtuoso musicians provide a live experience that will have you dancing all night long. Marsoupial's next performance will be tomorrow night at PJ Ryans Squared from 10pm-1am, which is a show that you will definitely not want to miss. They will also be playing songs off of their future album "More Soup Y'all" in promotion for the album's November release.
