Madison Chamber Of Commerce Wants People To Spend Locally

The Chamber sent out a statement to remind people they can get Madison Gift Checks, in an effort to boost the local economy.

MADISON, NJ — They've been around for many years, but the Chamber of Commerce wants to remind people that they can get Madison Gift Check, redeemable in stores around town, in an effort to boost the local economy.

“Purchasing a Madison Gift Check keeps vital dollars in our community and makes for an appreciated, unique gift,” said John Morris, President of the Chamber and co-owner of a store in town.

The Madison Gift Checks can be bought year-round at the Provident Bank, AT 98 Main St.

They have an expiration date of six months starting the day they were purchased and are accepted at a majority of stores in Madison, according to Executive Director Karen Giambra.

"Please shop locally and support the businesses that support your community," Morris said.
