Madison Football Rolls In Coach's Milestone Win, 19-7
The Madison High School football squad rolled over Kinnelon in its opener, notching a milestone win for its head coach
KINNELON, NJ—The Madison High School Dodgers opened a unique 2020 campaign on Friday night in Kinnelon, defeating the Colts, 19-7.
The game, which Madison controlled from start to finish, marked career win number 100 for Madison Head Coach Chris Kubik, who has coached the Dodgers since 2007.
According to the Madison School District, in Kubik's thirteen seasons the Dodgers have logged a record of 100-41 and made nine playoff appearances. The program won division championships in 2010-2012 and 2014-2016.

The coach also led the Dodgers to the North Section 2 Group 2 Championship in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016. Kubik and the Dodgers are scheduled to tangle with Parsippany High School in Madison's home opener on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.
