MADISON, NJ — Madison will have a contested Democratic primary for Borough Council. However, Republicans won't have any options on a candidate to represent their party.

Three Democratic candidates will run for two available Borough Council positions. Debra Coen and Eric Range will run as a ticket, while Thomas Haralampoudis will campaign on their own.

No one filed a petition by Monday's deadline to run as Republicans, according to borough officials.
