Madison Kids Take The Stand In Youth Mock Trial

MADISON, NJ - The Madison Joint Municipal Court was packed last Monday morning as students from Saint Vincent Martyr School participated in mock court trials with Judge Gary F. Troxell presiding over the case.

Both classes heard the case between the Greens and their babysitter Emily over Spot the lost Dalmatian.

The mock trial included witness statements, opening and closing statements, and deliberation between the jury, all an amazing opportunity to allow students to learn more about how the judicial system works.

It is unclear whether the verdict will be appealed to a higher court.
