Madison Native Among Those Honored at Virginia Tech Graduation

There was a Madison native among the 4,400 who received their bachelor’s at the prestigious Virginia Tech at this year’s commencement.

Jonathan Marut graduated in May 16 with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and graduated cum laude from the school of mechanical engineering.

Former VT President Charles Steger conducted the ceremony while Terry McAuliffe, the governor for the Commonwealth of Virginia, gave the keynote address.
