In a primary election impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, results may not be available Tuesday night due to mail-in voting.
MADISON, NJ – Voting in the New Jersey primary election has ended after polls closed at 8 p.m. in an already-delayed election in which voting took place by mail due to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the nature of the historic election, results are not expected Tuesday night.
In Madison, Democrats Robert Edward Landrigan and John F. Hoover have filed to secure their party's nomination. The Republicans have Michael Dailey and Mackaella Goodwin seeking the nod from their party in uncontested races.
