Madison Police Announces National Night Out

The event happens on August 3 and is meant to bring together law enforcement and the community.

MADISON, NJ — National Night Out will return this year, the Madison Police Department announced.

On August 3, residents are asked to lock their doors, turn on their outside lights, and spend the evening with neighbors, the Madison Police Department, the Mayor and Council, as well as other borough departments, including the Morris County Sheriffs Office, Fire Department, EMS, Public Works and Electric Utility Department.

The program is meant to bring together law enforcement and the community and happens in different towns across the country.

Anyone interested in hosting a neighborhood can register here. The deadline is July 1.

Registering is free and allows the borough to know what events will be happening so that representatives can attend.
